Dear
Aaron,
Welcome to the sixth issue of the Truckers4RonPaul.org newsletter.
I'm nearly caught
up with the DVD requests and site visitors have risen to around 160 visitors per day. It's fun to watch it steadily
increase!
I attended the Ron Paul rally and fundraiser in Cheyenne, WY today (Sunday) and got my photo taken with
the Congressman (thanks to Jeff Greenspan - you rule!) and my wife and I had a great time meeting a lot of people and even
participating (en masse with the crowd) in the filming of a Ron Paul television commercial!
We saw lots
of interesting people (podcasters, media, bloggers, and other questionable types included). It was great! You
can read my short writeup to the right.
As another big bonus, I've got an official
Ron Paul campaign t-shirt in XL size that was given to me to do with as I wish. That means that one of you, my happy
readers, will get it!
So here's what to do: go to this link and enter and you'll be entered in a random drawing to win.
That means one of our readers - and only one of our subscribers - will get to win. The page will only be up for a couple
of days, then I'll have the computer randomly select from the entries and the shirt is yours!
So hurry up and enter! I'll wait right here...
You're back?
Good.
On a last note, the 5th of November is coming right around the corner... Remember,
rememer, the fifth of November...
So tell your friends about Ron Paul and keep on truckin'!
Sincerely,
Aaron Turpen www.Truckers4RonPaul.org

bottom of this email there are unsubscribe, forward, and subscribe links for your convenience.

Seeing Ron Paul in Cheyenne, WYI
made it into town to get some home-time. During that, my wife and I drove into Cheyenne (the big city!) and attended
the rally and fundraiser for Dr. Ron Paul.
Just before the event really started, when the crowd was beginning to
boil and the colonial marching band was really getting into their songs, my friend Jeff Greenspan (looking spiffy in his suit)
walked by. I saw him and stalked him until I could get my hand in to shake his. Jeff is a reigonal coordinator
for Ron's campaign now, but I met him when he was just another financial guy with the unfortunate name of Greenspan.
haha
At any rate, the rally was much better than we initially thought it would be, with the crowd growing to be
quite large (in the hundreds, certainly, I'm not good at these sorts of guesses), with live local TV coverage, and a great
speech from Dr. Paul. My meaty farmboy hands were sore with clapping. Especially after he went through the types
of people who are being attracted to the campaign and mentioned anarchists.
The highlight, though, was the
aftermath. My wife, Kathy, and I had our photo taken with the Congressman in a short, private meeting before his fundraising
luncheon. Thanks, Jeff!
So that was the rally. I would go into detail about what he spoke about, who
was in attendance, and so forth, but you have to attend one (or more) of these things yourself to understand. It's about
the energy and personal experience - not the words.
So if Ron Paul comes anywhere near your home, go see
him. His energy will be infused into you and your support will keep him fighting the good fight.

Spotter Reports Added to Truckers4RonPaul.org
The Truckers4RonpPaul.org website gets awesome visitors, many of which send us notes
about what they are doing to support Ron Paul and their ideas and suggestions.
One of those suggestions
has become a reality with our Ron Paul Spotters page. This is where website visitors can tell us where they've
seen Ron Paul support (signs, bumper stickers, rallies, whatever). Just like weather spotters note weather for NOAA,
we are compiling where Ron Paul's grassroots support is happening nationwide (and beyond).
Truck drivers
see a lot of the country. In doing so, we see a lot of the invidual and small group support that's happening for Ron
Paul everywhere we go. So why not report it and make a big list of where, when, and what we've seen?
That's
where the Spotters page comes in!
So if you have a report of something you've seen supporting Ron Paul (even if
it's your own), be it a bumper sticker, a sign, handouts at a local business, or whatever... let the world know by posting
it to The Ron Paul Spotters page!
Let's show the world how much support there really
is for Dr. Paul! Make Sean Hannity and the other "internet conspiracy behind Ron Paul" morons see how wrong they are!

Ron Paul Truck Stop Gets National News Attention
Washington Times reports on truck stop, as do many others.
Paul campaign has homespun backingby Jennifer Harper ( click here to view original article) Who is Ron Paul?" The
phrase is scrawled across a stark placard - stuck on a roadside bridge in the heart of liberal Maryland. The sign over the
Capital Beltway commands attention from passing commuters through its sheer simplicity and homespun insistence. And
it's one of hundreds - perhaps thousands - of handmade posters, billboards, bumper stickers and banners that have multiplied
around the country, crafted by those who want Rep. Ron Paul of Texas to win the Republican nomination for president. Mr. Paul appears today at the National Press Club to discuss the state of his campaign finances. He has raised $8.3 million
this year, according to numbers released Monday by the Federal Election Commission. But money alone is not driving
the campaign. It's zeal and spunk, perhaps. The mother of all Ron Paul signs went up Friday outside the Desert
Star Ranch Truck Stop, about 50 miles north of Barstow, Calif. Built by nine volunteers from plywood and paint, the monster
message - reading "Ron Paul Revolution" - is 10 feet tall and 48 feet long. The intrepid craftsmen claim it's the
largest campaign sign in the nation, hammered together from 19 sheets of plywood and support posts donated by the locals.
The grass-roots team has since built three more billboard-sized offerings reading "Ron Paul: Truth, Freedom, Justice." "We're enthusiastic, every one of us. And that enthusiasm is multiplying exponentially from person to person. It's
snowballing," said Robert Terhune, spokesman for Nevadans for Ron Paul in Reno, where Mr. Paul recently won a straw poll conducted
by the Conservative Leadership Conference. "I used to be a nonpartisan kind of guy. Then I found out what Ron Paul
stood for, and I had to be a part of it," Mr. Terhune said. "Making our own signs saves money. And it sure gets the message
out." The self-proclaimed "Paulites" have also flocked online, particularly to YouTube, where Ron Paul videos -
not to mention anti-Ron Paul videos - are popular fare. Sign-making parties are a mainstay among loyalists in New
Hampshire, Alaska, Nevada, Washington, Wisconsin, Iowa and Florida. So many signs have been posted around Orlando, in fact,
that local officials issue citations to Paul fans, who insist on their right to free speech - even in public areas that ban
signs of any sort. Their messages are straightforward: "Ron Paul is Cool," "RP 2008," "Ron Paul needs you." Mr. Paul's campaign handlers are delighted. "This is the work of independent supporters across the country.
The depths of real grass-roots support and real passion continues to amaze us. We're convinced there's something special going
on," said Jesse Benton, communications director for Ron Paul 2008, based in Virginia. "Our fundraising is healthy.
With the help of our volunteers, we're up for the challenge, for the nomination. We're serious," Mr. Benton added. (C)2007, The Washington Times - used under Fair Use. |

Ron Paul Supporters Comments Comments sent to the Truckers4RonPaul.org
website.
Through the website, I get a lot of emails from visitors and friends of the site. I try to respond
to every email I receive, though it's not always possible. Some of those emails are very informative and interesting.
I thought I'd share some of those with you here.
Sharilyn says: "I tried to get OOIDA [Owner-Operators, Independent Drivers Association] to get either Ron Paul or a good
representative for him on their Land Line Now daily radio program (even a LandLine magazine article on behalf of Ron Paul
would be great) ... to no avail. Sherry Murry said they don't do this sort of thing for anybody running for any office
:(. I and my husband are O/O and members of OOIDA, too. I now have Jim Guest State Rep (state level) of Missouri
trying to talk to Todd Spencer Executive Officer of OOIDA to get them to change their minds...if you or any of these other
truckers are members of OOIDA please contact them on this issue ... maybe we can get them to change their minds if they realize
other truckers would like this as well?"
Patrick says: "Hi Friends, I drive a truck and support Ron Paul.
I have a magnetic "Ron Paul for President" sign that is 1 foot by 2 foot and would look good on the back of an owner operator's
trailer. I can not use it because I am a company driver and have to drop trailers often. Email me an address of
someone and I'll drop it in the mail asap free of charge. Also, I live in New Hampshire and that is the one primary
that Ron Paul must and can win and it would be great if we could have 50 trailers up there with "Ron Paul for President"
on them 48 hours before the primary. It's possible. I have often said that if he had ten guys or gals on the same
page as me he could take the state." [Editor's Note: I have both Patrick's cell phone and email address if you'd like
to contact him about this.]
Greg says: "On November 5th, Ron Paul supporters (100,000 +) across the country
are planning to make history by donating $100 to his campaign at www.ronpaul2008.com. This Ron Paul Money Bomb event will surely be heard around
the world!!! BE a part of this historic event on November 5th, and please pass this message on to any and all groups who want
to be a part of history!!! Thank you."
Cheryl says: "While some of us in San Diego were "Freeway Bannering"
we were impressed by the number of truckers honking and waving at our Ron Paul Banners! I was thinking wouldn't it be great
if you truckers were to have large Ron Paul signs on those rigs! Great opportunity for traveling Ron Paul billboards. I understand
those who can't, but you could wear Ron Paul Tee-shirts, ballcaps, and buttons. Keep flyers on hand to pass out to those who
ask. Together we can win this thing!"
David says: "I met Dr Paul this fall up in Mackinac Island. Knew from
that day on that I was voting for this man. This Sunday, I am starting my Truck Driving Career at the age of 44. So I'll also
be a trucker for Ron Paul"
Thanks
to everyone who sends in their great emails and information! Keep on truckin'!
