I'll be honest with you. Sometimes sending out these free Ron Paul DVDs to people who ask for them gets to
be too much for me. When a major amount of advertising comes about (on other websites, in the media, etc.), I can get
overwhelmed with requests and quickly fall behind in sending them out in a timely manner. My goal is to send them out
within three days of being asked, but sometimes it takes a week or more just to get it in the mail. The hassles of being
on the road are the biggest setback, since sometimes a mailbox or a place to buy stamps can be hard to come by in a big truck.
But
I want to make sure the DVDs keep going out. Especially now that the site is growing in popularity and I have been informed
by a few heavily-trafficked sites that they plan to feature Truckers4RonPaul.org on their sites soon - which means a lot of
DVD requests.
So I'm asking for your help. If you have some time and a little bit of
money, you can help keep the Revolution going. I need volunteers to help send out DVDs.
Here's
how it works: you'll need a DVD burner (do you have one on your computer?), some empty DVDs (I buy 50-packs at Office
Max or WalMart for around $20), and some envelopes (I prefer 6x9 padded mailers, but you can use anything a DVD disc will
fit into). Most envelopes with a DVD inside will cost about $1.30 to mail, I usually just put four stamps on them and
drop them in a blue box whenever one's handy.
If you have the above items, then you can help
me out! Just let me know how many you can afford to send out per week (1, 5, 20, any number is OK). I'll forward
you that number of requests (or less, depending on volume) per week and take care of responding to let them know it's
on its way. All you need to do is burn the DVD, write the address on it, and put it in the mail. You can use my
return address or your own, that's up to you.
If you can afford to spend five dollars
a week, you can send out two or three DVDs and help out Ron's campaign in the process. The more you can send out,
the cheaper they become in the long run, though.
